Orion Risk Management Is Pleased To Announce A New Addition To Our Firm

Pasadena, CA, September, 2005 - Orion Risk Management has hired Morton Lord, CIC, to join our Insurance Brokerage Firm. Morton is an extremely skilled producer that has an extensive background in marketing and implementing intricate Property/Casualty and Employee Benefit programs, including alternative funding.

Morton Lord has been an insurance broker for 16 years, which includes an extensive educational foundation: a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Associates Risk Management (ARM) degree and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Morton began in the insurance industry directly out of college with ITT Hartford in 1987. At Hartford he spent two years underwriting casualty accounts, consisting of large manufacturing and other commercial business. Currently, Morton is pursuing his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation to emphasize risk management to clients.

Morton’s distinct knowledge and expertise will help Orion Risk Management to continue to build a positive standing in the industry. Morton currently has a client base that represents over $10 million in insurance premiums.
